KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 1 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has implored for the speedy recovery of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, who has fallen ill due to contracting Influenza A. In a Facebook post, Anwar prayed that His Royal Highness would receive the protection and blessings of Allah SWT and regain his health. The Sultan's condition, including a high fever and weak limbs, was diagnosed by his personal physicians, Datuk Dr Anuar Onah and Datuk Dr Tan Hui Meng.
As a precautionary measure, Sultan Sharafuddin has been instructed to rest and avoid attending any events for a period of five to seven days to ensure a full recovery.
