A feline brother and sister pair who are simply out of this world

A pair of extraordinary cats has captured the hearts of many: a tuxedoed black-and-white male named Cassiopeia and a striking all-black female named Galaxy. Born around May 2025, these siblings are not only visually stunning but also share an unbreakable bond. Discovered by a compassionate individual in April, they have been inseparable since, residing together at ARK, an animal rescue organization.

Cassiopeia, the larger of the two, weighs over 5 kilograms and is often referred to as "Big Boy." His foster family adores his affectionate nature and his love for attention. Galaxy, on the other hand, may appear smaller in stature but compensates with her intelligence and unique personality. Initially wary, she can be a bit of a challenge at times, necessitating Cassiopeia's gentle guidance. Nevertheless, their sibling relationship remains strong, with occasional playful squabbles giving way to cozy cuddles.

The duo's story is one of resilience and love. They were among four kittens found by a caring donor, who promptly brought them to ARK. Both cats have undergone necessary vaccinations, neutering, and microchipping, ensuring their health and safety. Prospective adopters must complete an application process, which includes an interview and home visit.

ARK, founded by U.K. native Elizabeth Oliver, is a non-profit organization committed to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. The organization operates in both Kansai and Tokyo, with a website at www.arkbark.net. Interested individuals can contact ARK via email at [email protected] or by phone at 050-1557-2763, available Monday through Saturday in both English and Japanese.

Those who appreciate the beauty and charm of these extraordinary felines are encouraged to consider adoption, providing a loving home for these two out-of-this-world siblings.
