Trump Shares Picture of Reuters Reporter After Midterms Travel Question
During the exchange, Trump defended his health and took aim at the reporter who asked about the change to his campaign schedule.
President Donald Trump continued his personal attacks on Reuters journalist Jacob Bogage on Saturday, posting a photo of the reporter on his Truth Social account. The image came after Bogage questioned the president about his health following a canceled trip to Kansas. Trump responded by criticizing Bogage's appearance, saying, "You’ve been following me for two weeks.
I feel perfect. You are disgusting. Put yourself in shape, you look like hell." The exchange occurred during a press briefing where Bogage asked about the canceled trip and its relation to Trump's "sick of traveling" remarks. Trump dismissed the suggestion that his health played a role in the schedule changes, stating he initially didn't believe he needed to campaign in Kansas.
This confrontation is part of a series of clashes between Trump and journalists during his second term, including confrontations with CNN's Kaitlan Collins and other media outlets.
