These compact Sirui Swift primes make a two-lens travel kit easier to carry

Fujian-based optics manufacturer Sirui is expanding its lens lineup with a new series of autofocus full-frame lenses. The Swift lens range offers compact and affordable prime lenses for mirrorless cameras, with two models set to launch before year's end. The Swift 20mm f/2.4 and Swift 40mm f/2.2 are designed for various photography applications, from landscapes to portraits. Weighing in at 207g to 215g, the lenses are compatible with APS-C and full-frame mirrorless cameras, including Fujifilm X-mount.

Both lenses share a similar design, featuring a 69.5mm diameter, 60-62mm length, 58mm filter thread, and nine-blade aperture. The 20mm model boasts a minimum focus distance of 0.2m, while the 40mm can focus down to 0.4m. Constructed with 11 elements in 9 groups (20mm) or 8 groups (40mm), the lenses employ STM stepping motors for autofocus, a customizable Fn button, and a weather-resistant build to withstand dust, stains, and splashes.

Priced at $149/£129.90 each, the Swift 20mm f/2.4 and Swift 40mm f/2.2 lenses will be available in Sony FE, Fujifilm X, and L-mount formats.
