Selangor’s Bersatu deal: Just a few ‘sensitive details’ left, says state Pakatan chief

Selangor’s Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, has announced that the Confidence and Supply Agreement (CSA) with Bersatu is nearing completion. Mr. Shari stated that while several sensitive details still require finalization, negotiations with Bersatu have already reached a foundational understanding. He emphasized that the cooperation at the federal level has laid the groundwork for a similar arrangement in Selangor to maintain state administrative stability.

Mr. Shari clarified that the agreement would entail en bloc support for Bersatu while maintaining their opposition status. The foundation for this agreement is already established at the federal level, making the process in Selangor more straightforward. Mr. Shari expressed readiness to finalize the agreement once all matters are resolved with the Bersatu leadership.
