Sanjay Gupta, a 57-year-old filmmaker, has died after allegedly losing his balance and falling inside his bathroom in Mumbai. The police confirmed that he sustained a severe head injury, which ultimately led to his demise. The film industry is in shock following his passing. Gupta had worked with numerous A-list stars throughout his three-decade career, collaborating with stars such as Sanjay Dutt, Harshvardhan Rane, Mika Singh, and many others on films including Aatish, Jung, Khauff, Kaante, Musafir, Zinda, and The Miranda Brothers.

Sanjay Dutt, a close friend and co-star of Gupta, expressed his deep sorrow on Twitter, stating, "Gupts, my brother. I still cannot believe that you are gone." He reminisced about their shared memories and friendship, and vowed to make "Kaante 2" a reality in memory of Gupta. Harshvardhan Rane, who starred in Gupta's final film, The Miranda Brothers, shared an emotional Instagram post, admitting he could not imagine what Gupta's family must be going through.

Rane praised Gupta for his friendly nature and dedication to making films, and promised to fulfill Gupta's dream of making "Kaante 2." Mika Singh, another close associate, shared a heart-wrenching Instagram post, calling Gupta his "godfather" and expressing gratitude for the guidance, love, and support he received from Gupta. He emphasized that Gupta's loss would forever remain in his heart.
