Quarterback Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams was astounded by the remarkable toughness of tight end Colby Parkinson, describing him as "unbelievable." Parkinson, in his seventh NFL season and third with the Rams, suffered multiple injuries during the team's Week 7 victory in Las Vegas but still returned to play. Despite being listed on the injury report between Weeks 3-8 with knee, shoulder, and rib injuries, Parkinson only missed one game.
This display of resilience has earned him praise from both his quarterback, Stafford, and coach Sean McVay. Parkinson's attitude and determination, despite his ongoing injuries, represent the kind of player that embodies the Rams' team-first culture. With several star players sidelined due to injuries, Parkinson's contributions are highly valued by the team.
Through six games this season, Parkinson has 14 receptions for 48 yards and one touchdown, and he remains listed as questionable for the upcoming game against the Chargers.
