The Oklahoma Sooners are hosting the South Carolina Gamecocks in a SEC football showdown of 4-3 teams Saturday in Norman. Follow for live udpates.
Oklahoma State University will host South Carolina on Saturday at Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The Sooners' homecoming game is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. on SEC Network. Oklahoma is attempting to end its recent trend of following every win with a loss. Quarterback John Mateer has been performing more efficiently recently and recently recorded a season-high 283 yards and 4.1 yards per carry against Mississippi State.
South Carolina, led by former Sooners assistant Shane Beamer, began the season 0-3 in SEC play but rebounded with victories against Florida and Tennessee. This will be the third matchup between the two teams in three years. South Carolina defeated Oklahoma in Norman during the 2024 season, while Oklahoma had an easy victory over South Carolina in Columbia last year.
The Sooners have several health concerns heading into Saturday's game; starting center Jake Maikkula is questionable, while star safety Peyton Bowen is probable to play against the Gamecocks. For live updates during the Sooners-Gamecocks game, tune in to Fubo.
