‘Nobody can sink them!’ - Hernan Crespo tips ‘battleship’ Inter for Scudetto glory but warns Ruben Amorim’s Milan are closing the gap

Former Inter striker Hernan Crespo believes his former club remains the best-equipped team to win the Serie A Scudetto this season. However, he acknowledges that AC Milan under manager Ruben Amorim have made significant strides and could potentially close the gap in the coming weeks. Crespo praised Inter's resilience and mental fortitude, highlighting their ability to turn around games.

Despite Milan's defensive improvements, Crespo maintains that Inter's advantages are too great to be easily overcome, comparing them to a battleship. The Argentine also cautioned both teams about managing their energy between domestic and European matches, citing Roma's struggles as an example. Milan are currently just seven points behind Inter, but Crespo remains confident that a strong performance in their upcoming Derby della Madonnina could determine the course of the season.
