Multiple Sixers stars single out Dean Wade after Cup win over Knicks
Multiple star members of the Philadelphia 76ers single out Dean Wade following an NBA Cup win over the New York Knicks.
The Philadelphia 76ers won their NBA Cup debut against the New York Knicks on Friday, with Dean Wade playing a pivotal role in their victory. Despite his stat line being unremarkable – a scoreless night, two rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 26 minutes – Wade's defensive prowess and ability to make crucial plays for his teammates shone through.
Tyrese Maxey and LeBron James both praised Wade's all-around impact, noting that he is a glue guy for the team. Maxey highlighted Wade's versatility, defending star players like Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and OG Anunoby, while James emphasized the importance of Wade's defensive and offensive contributions. As the Sixers look ahead to their next match against the Charlotte Hornets, Wade's consistent ability to make winning plays will be crucial for the team's success.
