Mike Myers, the actor known for his portrayal of Dr. Evil in the Austin Powers film series, has stated that a fourth installment of the franchise is still in development. In an interview with The Hollywood Insiders' Hawk Koch, Myers revealed that he is currently working on material for the movie, with the focus being on Dr. Evil's perspective.

Myers, now 63 years old, acknowledged that it is easier to think like Dr. Evil than to play the original, charismatic character. While no studio is currently attached to the project, it appears that Myers is fully committed to bringing Dr. Evil back to the screen.
