Iran’s Mojtaba Khamenei orders military response ‘without geographic limits’ amid fears of renewed war

Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has instructed the nation's armed forces to respond immediately to any hostile threat from adversaries, without any geographical limitations, amid rising tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel. In a statement shared on his official Telegram account, Khamenei emphasized that Iran would decide the timing and conditions for putting an end to any renewed military or terrorist attacks by its enemies.

He also announced an update to the military target list to incorporate US and Israeli assets, both physical and non-physical, within Iran's reach, according to the news agency Reuters. This warning follows the US-Israeli military campaign against Iran in February, which resulted in the death of Khamenei's father and several high-ranking Iranian officials.

Regional leaders have called for restraint and a diplomatic solution to the escalating situation at a security forum in Bahrain.
