FAMU football vs Southern fan prediction poll for today's rivalry game
Now, as SWAC foes, FAMU hosts Southern in an old-school HBCU football rivalry game. Who will win the Halloween showdown? Vote to predict your winner!
On Saturday, Florida A&M will take on Southern in a traditional rivalry game at Ken Riley Field. The matchup is set for 3 p.m. on HBCU GO and will also be broadcast live on Tallahassee radio stations via 96.1 JAMZ. Florida A&M (2-6, 1-3 in SWAC) arrives to the game following a 31-28 loss to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, which prevented them from achieving a winning record under their new head coach, Quinn Fordham Gray Sr. Meanwhile, Southern (3-5, 1-3 in SWAC) suffers a 24-21 defeat in Houston at Texas Southern's homecoming. The Jaguars are led by Marshall Faulk, a Super Bowl champion and Pro Football Hall of Famer.
Historically, Florida A&M has a slight edge over Southern, boasting a 41-26-1 record since 1941. Last season, the Rattlers emerged victorious in a thrilling 43-35 game against the Jags, held in Baton Rouge. The question remains: who will claim victory in this year's edition of the FAMU-Southern rivalry? Make your prediction now.
