Nigerian players are set to feature in several Premier League matches this weekend, though none are expected to play in the high-profile clash between Chelsea and Manchester United. Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey will travel to Aston Villa for Fulham's game on Saturday evening. Semi Ajayi will face Ipswich Town at Hull City, while Ola Aina returns to Nottingham Forest for Brentford.
Frank Onyeka and Taiwo Awoniyi could make appearances as Coventry City host Sunderland. Zadok Yohanna may also feature as Brighton faces Manchester City. The Chelsea vs Manchester United match is scheduled for 1:30pm Nigerian time at Stamford Bridge, with United currently 16th in the table, one point above the relegation zone. Chelsea, on the other hand, are fifth in the league.
