Delorean Bijon Brandon and Kaylee Nicole Markowski arrested on suspicion of murdering Christina Downer, SNL writer Jimmy Fowlie's sister
Delorean Bijon Brandon, Christina Downer's boyfriend, was among the two arrested on suspicion of her murder nearly a year after her disappearance.
Delorean Bijon Brandon and Kaylee Nicole Markowski have been arrested in connection with the murder of Christina Downer, sister of Saturday Night Live writer Jimmy Fowlie. Both individuals were taken into custody in Los Angeles, with Brandon arrested near Figueroa Street in Highland Park and Markowski in Tarzana. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) believes the pair killed Downer and disposed of her body, concealing the crime.
Downer had gone missing in December 2025 and was reported missing by her family after her cellphone washed up on Santa Monica Beach. Brandon, Downer's ex-boyfriend at the time, claimed she had left their shared residence, but investigators suspect otherwise. Both are being held on $2 million bail and face murder charges. The LAPD will present the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for further consideration.
