Colin Cowherd asks if Lamar Jackson is just ‘a more talented Kyler Murray’

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is set to take the field in his first game since Week 4 following a high ankle sprain. The team has returned him just in time for a crucial matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. However, Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd has expressed criticism of Jackson, questioning his leadership abilities and comparing him to fellow quarterback, Kyler Murray.

Cowherd stated that since Week 1 over a year ago, when Jackson and Josh Allen met in MVP voting discussions, Murray has consistently been the better performer. The analyst also pointed out that Jackson often falls asleep during team meetings, suggesting a lack of professionalism. He argued that the team suffers from frequent double-digit leads being blown, a problem that was previously attributed to head coach John Harbaugh, but now falls on player Jesse Minter.

Cowherd concluded by highlighting the constant need for players to walk on eggshells around Jackson, indicating underlying issues within the team dynamic.
