In Sunday's final of the knockout stage, Citizens Development Business Finance (CDB) and the Hayleys Group 'A' will clash at the Mercantile Cricket Association ground. Both teams reached the final without playing any matches, as the quarterfinals and semifinals were cancelled due to rain and poor ground conditions.
CDB, the league champions of the 33rd Singer – MCA Super Premier League, emerged unbeaten throughout the tournament. They triumphed over Hayleys Group 'A' by seven wickets in their previous encounter on the 11th. The CDB team features players such as Sonal Dinusha, Tharinda Rathnayake, and Lahiru Madushanka, among others.
On the other hand, the Hayleys Group 'A' squad includes Ramesh Mendis, Prabath Jayasuriya, and Sahan Arachchige, among several other players. The final promises to be an exciting encounter between these two formidable teams.
