Bollywood actress Ayesha Khan faced heavy criticism after participating in a beach and city cleanliness drive in Mumbai. A video from the event showed a man accompanying her, constantly holding a hand fan in front of her face to prevent her makeup from getting ruined by the heat. Netizens accused her of participating solely for the cameras and to show off her picture-perfect appearance.
The actress was seen wearing a maroon top, jogger pants, and cleaning gloves, collecting plastic waste along with other volunteers. However, the man holding the fan drew the most criticism, with many labeling the act a "show off" rather than genuine participation in the cause.
