In a shocking incident at a government school in Panchkula, Haryana, a Class 3 student brutally attacked a six-year-old girl with a brick, leading to severe injuries. The incident, captured on CCTV cameras, has sparked concerns over the school's security arrangements. The girl's family alleges that the accused boy lured her to the first floor, telling her that her father had called her.
It was there that the assault occurred, leaving the girl unconscious and covered in blood. The family claims the boy led them to the spot where she was found, after which he took them to the room where the girl lay. The victim, Faisal, described the injuries as extremely disturbing and compared them to cruelty shown by animals. He alleged inadequate staff deployment and the absence of the principal during the incident, which may have contributed to the security lapse.
The family also questioned the functioning of CCTV cameras, particularly those installed in the principal's office, and sought accountability from the school management for the security lapses.
