2027: Osun APC mobilises 10,000 canvassers for Tinubu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has enlisted 10,000 door-to-door canvassers to bolster President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general election. Osun State APC Chairman Tajudeen Lawal announced this on Friday, detailing the party's plans for grassroots mobilisation across the state's 30 local government areas.

Lawal stated that the initiative aims to showcase the Tinubu administration's achievements and policies to residents, securing widespread support for the President's bid for a second term. He added, "The reforms by the President are pruning the economy and paving ways for strong generational wealth." The canvassers' mobilisation is spearheaded by the APC leadership, with backing from the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, and Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, the 2026 Osun governorship candidate.

The party has established structures to ensure the successful execution of its campaign plans, aiming to secure Tinubu's return for a second term. Governor Ademola Adeleke, appointed as the coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) for Tinubu's re-election, is also prepared to collaborate with the state's APC leadership towards achieving the common goal.
