World : Midair Collision Between Two Helicopters In Oregon Leaves Three Dead

Three individuals have tragically lost their lives after two helicopters collided midair near McMinnville Municipal Airport in Oregon, according to officials. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, with both aircraft plummeting into a field adjacent to a highway. The victims identified so far include a 22-year-old flight instructor from Texas, Maddie Aasbo, and a student pilot from the United Kingdom, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

The sole occupant of the second helicopter, Tyler Delane Sturdevant, 38, from Newberg, Oregon, also perished in the crash. The cause of the collision remains unknown at this time. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have dispatched teams to the scene to lead the investigation.
