Florida men’s basketball enters the 2026-27 season with arguably the nation’s most talented frontcourt, as Sports Illustrated’s latest player rankings confirm. Three Gators—Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon, and Rueben Chinyelu—are among the top 15 players in the country. Haugh, the highest-ranked Gator at No. 3, returns despite NBA draft interest, with his versatility making him one of the most valuable players on Todd Golden’s roster.
Condon ranks No. 8, while Chinyelu, who checks in at No. 13, adds another dimension to Florida’s frontcourt with his rebounding and defensive versatility. Together, the trio gives Florida a strong chance to enter the season with national championship expectations.
