Huawei has broadened its monthly Service Day programme in South Africa, now offering a wider range of maintenance and repair benefits for its diverse product line. This upgraded global programme, themed "We Care, Your Care," now covers smartphones, wearables, tablets, audio devices and PCs. Customers can now access complimentary maintenance services, waived labor charges on qualifying repairs and discounts on service products during the final Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each month. No online booking is required - customers simply visit a local Huawei Customer Service Centre.

The programme aims to provide routine maintenance and professional support more easily, encouraging customers to care for their devices proactively rather than reacting when issues arise. For smartphone and wearable users, complimentary screen protectors are available, and tablet owners can benefit from Huawei’s Cleaning & Refresh services. PC users can utilize the System Renewal service for device maintenance.

When repairs are needed, Huawei Service Day waives labor charges on qualifying repairs, reducing the overall cost of getting devices working again. This approach emphasizes the value of maintaining devices we rely on daily, such as smartphones, tablets, and wearables, which hold personal information, assist in work and communication, and support our daily routines.

Huawei Service Day has been running since 2022 and expanded to 30 countries by June 2026, serving over 987,000 consumers. In South Africa, the programme is held on the final Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each month. Customers can visit a participating Huawei Customer Service Centre without an appointment to learn about available maintenance services, repair benefits and offers for their eligible devices.
