Sherrock upsets Littler to claim £501,000 prize

Fallon Sherrock upset reigning world champion Luke Littler in a one-leg match at the PDC World Championship, claiming a £501,000 prize. The event, held at Manchester Central, saw 25,000 amateur players compete against Littler in a one-leg face-off, with Sherrock being the only female player allowed to enter, having previously beaten a male opponent at the PDC World Championship.

Sherrock, who has won 21 times on the Women's PDC Series, expressed her excitement about the win, particularly being able to share the moment with her son Rory, who was in the crowd for the first time.
