Pedro Porro responds to talk he’s Joan Laporta’s dream defensive signing for Barcelona
The Spain star admits he would love to return to La Liga.
Tottenham defender Pedro Porro has been questioned about Barcelona's reported interest in his services, with the talk suggesting he may have become Joan Laporta's dream signing for their backline. The defender stated he would enthusiastically return to La Liga but currently has no urgency to leave Tottenham. Porro confirmed he secured a contract extension with the Premier League side prior to the World Cup, and he currently has no intention of discussing anything beyond Tottenham while he is under contract.
He expressed excitement about potentially returning to Spain, but emphasized he hasn't been contacted by either Barcelona or Madrid regarding his availability. Sources indicate Tottenham has valued Porro highly, and has reportedly set a premium price to deter potential suitors.
