The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced a protest on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, under the banner of 'Yɛgye Yɛ Sika'. This demonstration is aimed at calling for the removal of Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who is accused of financial misconduct in the evacuation of Ghanaians from South Africa. Allegations include the sale of diplomatic and service passports.
The NPP's National Youth Organiser, Abanga Fuseini Yakubu, emphasized the gravity of the allegations, urging President John Mahama to take immediate action. The party also requested the Attorney General and the Office of the Special Prosecutor to investigate the claims.
