Jumbo Package: Alabama focused on reviving run game vs LSU
Your latest Crimson Tide news and notes.
Alabama is concentrating on revitalizing their run game ahead of their upcoming game against LSU. Running back EJ Crowell has been instrumental in Alabama's offensive efforts, receiving increased playing time due to injuries in the front seven. Crowell's performance against Texas A&M earned him recognition as SEC co-defensive lineman of the week.
With a win against LSU, Alabama could still be in contention for a College Football Playoff spot. However, a loss would significantly diminish their chances. Alabama's defense is ranked behind LSU's, with the Crimson Tide expected to focus on running the ball effectively in order to counter LSU's strong run defense.
