Australian-born, New Zealand-based folk artist Jazmine Mary is set to release her new album Country Milk on an upcoming date. The album follows her previous release, I Want To Rock And Roll, which was released last year. In an Instagram post, Mary revealed that she completed the new album in just a month with her loved ones. The lead single from the album, "Shower Beer," stands in stark contrast to the frenetic pace of its creation.
Instead, it presents a soft, tender folk song that incorporates contributions from her peers Cass Basil and Vera Ellen. Mary herself directed the music video for "Shower Beer," which showcases her dancing in slow motion alongside actor Yvette Parsons. The full tracklist for Country Milk includes "Shower Beer," "Bloodline," "You're A Good Man, Girl," "Holy Unknowing," "Milk," "Geese," "Bend," and "Tin Of Fish For Breakfast" featuring Vera Ellen.
