I want to be Bursaspor legend – Iheanacho

Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed his desire to become a Bursaspor legend, as well as help the club secure promotion to the Turkish Super Lig, according to PUNCH Sports Extra. The 30-year-old, who joined Bursaspor as a free agent this summer from Celtic, has already scored 16 goals in his first 12 league appearances for the Turkish club.

Bursaspor currently leads the TFF First League, with Iheanacho being the first player in Turkish league history to score in 12 consecutive league games. He told the media that he did not expect to start so well in Turkey and emphasized that his main goal remains a return to the top flight. Iheanacho also revealed that becoming a legend for a great club like Bursaspor would be a significant honor for him and his family.
