I tested the ‘world’s largest 5K2K 240Hz gaming monitor’ — and it made me feel like the main character in my favorite games
The LG UltraGear 52G930B is a powerful 52-inch 5K2K 240Hz monitor that boasts strong gaming performance, color accuracy and coverage. But it has some flaws.
The LG UltraGear 52G930B is an enormous 52-inch gaming monitor that envelops you in an immersive experience. With its 5K2K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time, it offers stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. However, its VA LCD panel falls short in delivering the deep blacks typical of OLED displays, and its hefty price tag of nearly $2,000 may deter some buyers.
The monitor's VA panel excels in color coverage and accuracy, but its non-OLED nature and premium price point are notable drawbacks. Despite these limitations, the 52G930B remains a contender for the best curved monitor, as detailed in the full review.
