How to buy new Tennessee football dark mode gear vs Kentucky

Tennessee football enthusiasts can now purchase dark mode gear to wear during the upcoming game against Kentucky on November 7. The Vols' store, Vol Shop, has stocked up on various items including black T-shirts, hoodies, hats, jackets, and Adidas jerseys to be worn at the annual dark mode game. The announcement of this dark mode game was made on October 30 through a video titled "The chaos lives within" posted on the Vols' social media platforms.

To capitalize on this theme, Vol Shop took to its own social media to promote the dark mode gear available on their website, utvolshop.com.

The upcoming match, set to take place at Neyland Stadium, will see the No. 17 Tennessee Volunteers (6-2, 3-2 SEC) face off against the No. 8 Kentucky Wildcats (7-1, 5-1). The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:15 p.m. ET on ESPN. This is not the first time Tennessee has embraced dark mode, as they unveiled their new Adidas uniforms in July, which were showcased in an eye-catching video titled "Darkness comes for all."

This video followed a similar style to the viral "Venom" teaser that premiered Tennessee's dark mode uniforms in 2024.

Tennessee has a strong track record in dark mode uniforms since 2009, with a 5-2 record. Some notable wins include a 31-13 victory over South Carolina in 2009, a 45-20 triumph over South Carolina in 2021, and a 41-17 defeat of Kentucky in 2022. The team's success in dark mode uniforms continues to be a highlight for fans and showcases their dominance in this unique matchup.
