Police in Kuching are probing an incident in which a woman discovered a dashcam hidden under a sink in a women's toilet at a Bau food court. The complainant heard beeping sounds around 11am yesterday and found a small black object resembling a dashcam. She reported the discovery to the food court management, who then alerted the police.
The dashcam, along with its memory card, has been handed over to the police for investigation under Section 509 of the Penal Code, which deals with the intrusion of privacy or insulting a person's modesty.
