Manchester United has entered the race for Juventus' left-back Andrea Cambiaso, as INEOS seeks to bolster their left-back options early in the January transfer window. Michael Carrick's injury history has left the door open for a potential signing, with the 31-year-old already missing seven games this season. The English club's pursuit of the 26-year-old Italian is complicated by the involvement of several other clubs, including Barça, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Inter Milan, and Napoli.
Andrea Cambiaso, who can also play as a forward, is contracted until 2029, making his move away from Juventus unlikely. However, with an offer of €30-40 million reportedly enough to secure his transfer, United may feel compelled to act soon.
