Melaka, October 29 — Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has announced that Felcra Berhad will provide full tuition sponsorship for the children of its participants who achieve outstanding results in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) exams. The initiative aims to ensure that the academic success and educational requirements of Felcra participants' children are fully supported, stating that financial limitations should not hinder their future opportunities.
Zahid expressed hope that Kolej Felcra would prioritize Agricultural Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs to foster skilled labor in the agricultural technology sector. He emphasized the importance of investing in education and skills to enhance employment and entrepreneurial prospects for the next generation.
The sponsorship will cover tuition fees until the students complete their studies, including those who attain straight As in SPM and a CGPA of 4.00 in STPM. The announcement was made during the declaration ceremony for Felcra Berhad's second interim profit distribution for 2026 in Ayer Keroh, Malaya.
