“We’re hurting”: Carrick says Manchester United are Hungry to end their winless run

Manchester United is eager to end their winless streak as they prepare to face Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend. The pressure is mounting following heavy defeats to Como and Bournemouth, which have extended the club's goalless run to eight games. Manager Michael Carrick, who has faced questions about his position recently, remains confident in his team's ability to turn things around.

Carrick emphasized that his focus is solely on the players and their performance, stating, "I know what we can affect, I know what we need to improve." He acknowledged the added intensity in training and the team's hunger to rectify their recent poor results. Carrick affirmed that he is not seeking reassurances from the board regarding his future, emphasizing his understanding of the challenges and responsibilities that come with his role.
