That 16TB Seagate Expansion Desktop hard drive just dropped in price again, hitting $400
The Seagate 16TB Expansion Desktop HDD is one of our favorite high-capacity hard drives, and it's just had another price cut a week after Newegg's discount.
The Seagate Expansion Desktop hard drive, previously priced at $550, has seen another price reduction to $400, now available for $400 at Newegg. This high-capacity HDD, known for its simplicity and reliability, is a strong storage solution for professionals looking for affordable, high-capacity storage across PC and Mac. With the added benefit of Seagate's Rescue data recovery services and a one-year warranty, this drive offers peace of mind and ease of use.
However, it is important to note that this HDD does not operate bus-powered and requires a direct power connection. Comparatively, the same model is priced at $424 at Best Buy and $500 at Amazon, with the 8TB and 24TB versions priced at $316 and $680 respectively. Should you require standalone external desktop storage and value Seagate's data recovery services, this Seagate Expansion 16TB model is a highly recommended purchase.
