StrollMe bags €22 million to put more bikes, strollers and car seats into European homes

StrollMe, a German subscription service for children's mobility, has raised €22 million in a mix of equity and debt financing to expand its operations and grow its fleet in European markets. Existing investors, including Hanse Ventures, HGDF, JOSS, and Kristina Schreiner, are returning, while new investor BMH is joining through its managed fund Hessen Kapital I. The credit facility is provided by Growth Credit Partners (GCP).

StrollMe's co-founder and Managing Director, Sebastian Reichelt, said, "This financing marks a significant milestone for StrollMe. The equity from our existing and new investors, along with the credit facility from Growth Credit Partners, will enable us to significantly expand our fleet and offer families more choices on subscription. We are also laying the groundwork to strengthen our position in Europe step by step and in a capital-efficient way."

The financing follows a trend of investment in European subscription and asset-backed business models in 2026. In the UK, Raylo secured €34.5 million, while GIN e-bikes received €215k in fleet-backed debt. German companies Everphone and equipal also announced funding totaling approximately €90.6 million. Lena Lang, Senior Investment Manager at BMH, noted, "A circular economy needs business models that scale.

StrollMe demonstrates that using rather than owning works for children's products, and we are pleased to continue supporting the growth of the Hesse-based team."

Founded in 2020 by Timon Beutel and Sebastian Reichelt, StrollMe provides flexible subscription services for kids' bikes, balance bikes, strollers, car seats, and accessories from top brands in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Products are professionally refurbished and rented out, with refurbished items sold via sister brand Kiddly at the end of their rental life.

The company's circular model has resulted in over 100,000 rentals since its inception. Revenue grew around 70% in 2025, but limited availability of popular models prevented the company from meeting full demand. The new funding will support expanding the rental fleet, increasing the range of products, and making high-quality children's products more accessible to families across Europe.
