Here’s when you’ll find out what happens next after that brutal cliffhanger
Slow Horses has been renewed for two more seasons after its sixth season finale on October 21st. The show's creators have already begun work on the seventh season, which will be based on Mick Herron's book Bad Actors. The seventh season will continue to follow Diana Taverner, played by Kristin Scott Thomas, as she is covertly sent to London by her Russian counterpart Vassily Rasnokov, played by Merab Ninidza.
Slough House agent Shirley Dander, played by Aimee-Ffion Edwards, will also be a key focus as she deals with her drug addiction and the loss of coworkers. While River Cartwright, played by Jack Lowden, is expected to make a return in season eight, he is not actually dead and spent time recovering from being poisoned in the season six finale. The seventh season is set to premiere in September 2027.
