Putin Eyes Russian Factory Moves to Africa Amid Sanctions
Vladimir Putin said Russian companies are interested in moving some production to African countries amid sanctions against Russia’s economy. Speaking at the Russia-Africa summit in Moscow on Thursday, Oct. 29, he called for guarantees protecting Russian investments. His remarks came alongside proposals for industrial cooperation and a planned Russian bauxite venture in Ghana.
