PlayStation is reviving the 90s transparent trend with the launch of the Prism Collection, featuring DualSense controllers and matching PS5 covers in three new colorways - Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray. Preorders for the collection open on November 10 at 10am local time, with the full release set for February 4.
The DualSense controllers retail for $84.99 USD (€84.99/£74.99), while the PS5 covers have an RRP of $74.99 USD (€74.99/£64.99). Designers Leo Cardoso and Satoshi Aoyagi expressed excitement about bringing back the iconic see-through trend in a modern and complementary way to the PS5's industrial design. Each colorway showcases the transparent molding - a rosy orange, deep green, and cool-toned gray.
The Prism Collection will be available for preorder from PlayStation Direct and select retailers, joining over a dozen DualSense color variants released in the PS5 generation and limited-edition consoles tied to specific game releases.
