Oppo Pad 5 review: a solid budget-friendly iPad rival
The Oppo Pad 5 is a decent iPad rival with a beautiful display, plentiful battery life, and an appealing aesthetic — here’s whether I’d recommend it or not.
The Oppo Pad 5 is a budget-friendly iPad rival that delivers well in most areas. It boasts a vibrant 12.1-inch LCD display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, a user-friendly interface with regular OS and security updates, and an impressive battery life. With 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, it offers a clean software experience and looks sleek and premium.
While it may not have the most powerful processor, it performs well for simple tasks and light gaming. However, it falls short in terms of speakers, cameras, and charging speed. Despite these drawbacks, the Oppo Pad 5 provides good value for £349, with a stylish design and a stand-out display that competes with pricier rivals.
