No surprise to Carrick he’s still Man Utd manager

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has been kept on despite a string of poor results, stating he is unafraid of his future at Old Trafford. Carrick faced intense speculation after eight consecutive games without a win, but remained unfazed, insisting he only wants to focus on his job and doing what's best for the team.

Carrick also stated he wasn't surprised by his continued position, noting that he understood his responsibilities and the challenges he faces. He backed Captain Bruno Fernandes, who was benched for last week's loss to Bournemouth following criticism of Carrick's tactics. Despite the criticism, Carrick said he wouldn't consider walking away from his role, emphasizing his commitment to improving the team and his dedication to the club.
