Maresca expects another tough Brighton test

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has warned his team to expect no let-up from Brighton during their upcoming Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday. The warning follows a dramatic League Cup quarter-final clash on Wednesday, where City reached the next round by defeating the Seagulls on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Maresca noted that Brighton is currently in a "brilliant moment," characterized by winning games and scoring frequently. According to Free Malaysia Today, Maresca observed that Brighton has played with a "front foot, man to man" approach in their Premier League games against Arsenal, Crystal Palace, and Liverpool.

Both Maresca and Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler are expected to return to full-strength sides for the weekend fixture after making 16 changes during their recent cup meeting. In the Premier League standings, City is currently level on points with Arsenal, while third-placed Brighton sits five points behind the top two teams.
