New Delhi: Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is urging people to join the November 1 march organized by the Congress-led INDIA bloc in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan. Describing it as a movement to protect democracy, stop alleged vote fraud, and safeguard the Constitution, Gandhi emphasized that the protest is not a single-party affair but a movement for the soul of India.
In a video posted on X, the Congress leader appealed to those frustrated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar to participate in the protest. Gandhi also addressed concerns about potential police action during the march, assuring participants that the BJP lacks the resolve to engage in any mischief.
He encouraged student groups from all political backgrounds to join the movement, asserting that democratic freedoms and individual expression are under threat.
