Imo: You can't beat my records, it speaks louder - Okorocha dares Gov Hope Uzodinma

Former Imo West Senator Rochas Okorocha asserted on Thursday that Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State could not match his record. Okorocha emphasized that his accomplishments would carry more weight than Uzodinma's achievements in the state. During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, the ex-governor dismissed the influence of Uzodinma's administration.

Okorocha stated, “He can’t beat my record, he can’t even get close to it, not one hundred of my records, and it will speak loud for itself.” He questioned the relevance of discussing Hope Uzodinma's governance, stating that he would not discuss it further. Okorocha expressed his focus on ensuring President Bola Tinubu obtained the highest number of votes in Imo State.

He added, “But go and ask about my record, don’t even compare because what is important to me now is how Asiwaju will be re-elected in Imo State. It’s possible, and with my name on the ballot paper, Asiwaju can be sure that his victory is assured in Imo State.”
