Imo: Uzodinma has never won election - Okorocha

Former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, criticized Governor Hope Uzodinma during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today. Okorocha contended that Uzodinma has never won an election in his political career. This criticism came as the Federal High Court in Abuja declared Okorocha as the authentic APC candidate for Imo West Senatorial District.

Okorocha pointed out that Uzodinma's political history has always been surrounded by controversy, citing an incident where he became governor in 2020 after coming fourth in the 2019 governorship election, the same outcome that occurred when someone who came fourth was declared number one due to over 300 results being written. Okorocha emphasized that Uzodinma has never experienced victory in any election, highlighting the recent court ruling that nullified Uzodinma's senatorial candidacy as further evidence of this pattern.
