Doha is set to host a highly anticipated UFC Fight Night on November 21, 2025, featuring a lineup of former champions, ranked contenders, and returning fighters at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena. This event, organized by UFC in partnership with Visit Qatar, marks the second visit to Qatar and adds to the country's calendar of major international sporting events.
The return of the UFC to Qatar sees the return of Jiri Prochazka, the current No. 2 ranked light heavyweight contender, who will face undefeated No. 5 ranked Navajo Stirling. Prochazka, who once held the UFC light heavyweight title, returns to the Octagon after vacating the championship due to injury. Stirling, a UFC contract winner from Dana White's Contender Series 2024, has recorded six consecutive victories, including wins over Jan Błachowicz.
Other notable matchups include Aljamain Sterling against Kevin Vallejos in the featherweight division, and Asu Almabayev against Kyoji Horiguchi in the flyweight division. The event also features several other high-profile fights across various weight classes, including a rematch between Amir Albazi and Alessandro Costa in the bantamweight division.
