Brian Scalabrine, Jaylen Brown dig in, trade barbs over Boston Celtics trade beef
A recent exchange between former Boston Celtics players Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum has drawn the ire of broadcaster Brian Scalabrine. Scalabrine, who traded for Tatum in the summer, has continued to criticize the star forward, using his broadcasts to make jokes about Brown's turnovers last season. In a recent episode of his Starting Lineup show, Scalabrine directly accused Brown of trying to play the victim, stating that Brown is using him and his PR team to avoid taking responsibility for his actions.
Scalabrine believes Brown wants to maintain his legacy without holding himself accountable, similar to his behavior on Twitch. The nature and duration of this ongoing trade beef remain to be seen.
