Brian Kelly Not Closing Door on Return to Coaching
Kelly tells FOS he’s willing to listen about a return to the sidelines.
Brian Kelly, the current CBS Sports and SiriusXM College Sports Radio personality, has expressed that he is not ruling out a return to coaching. With an impressive coaching record across various teams, Kelly's name has been linked to potential Power 4 coaching opportunities at schools such as Maryland, Baylor, and NC State. After leaving LSU and facing a legal battle over his buyout, Kelly is currently focusing on his role in sports media, including calling college football games and hosting a SiriusXM show.
Despite the pressure of his new position, Kelly remains passionate about the game and the relationships he has built along the way. When asked about expanding the College Football Playoff, Kelly supports the idea, believing it benefits both the regular season games and provides hope for teams on the outside looking in.
