Bombers QB Collaros status vs. Argos unknown
Mike O'Shea has never been one to show his hand.
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are seeking revenge against the Toronto Argonauts in their upcoming Eastern semifinal. The Bombers lost to the Argos in the 2022 and 2024 Grey Cup games. Despite being favourites in both instances, the Bombers have not been able to overcome their past losses. Running back Brady Oliveira expressed that discussing the past losses might motivate him more for the upcoming game.
Defensive end Willie Jefferson, a future Hall of Famer, recalled his own performance against the Argos in 2024, where he recorded six tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception. Jefferson's history with the Bombers extends back to their 2017 playoff run, where he helped the Roughriders defeat Ottawa in the semifinal before losing to Toronto.
The Bombers will face the Argos in BMO Field, with the potential for more history to be made if they can advance to the Grey Cup.
